Title: smoke....
Post by: ctom on 04/06/14 14:33 UTC
I got a request for a medium smoke with a belly color of clear with uv and silver .004 glitter.

Talk about switch change stuff. That clear is on fire. The picture was taken in some shaded outdoor sunlight. In the sun it was crazy. In the house near a sunlit window the combo is eccentric. Really wild. I have to get another picture of this inside.

Here is the same batch of baits only the picture was taken indoors near a north facing window. This belly color is nuts.

What you're seeing is the uv powder at work big time. There is absolutely no color in this plastic and the glitter is silver. Turn one of these just right and you'd swear you were looking at a diamond. The amount of flash in this worm is wild.

I like the effect that the uv enhancer has. Let me know how well it works in the field.

Not a problem. Just keep in mind that now is my real busy time of the year ...and until I see ice again....and that I may not see or answer questions jolly on the spot. I'm not being rude, I just don't have a computer with me.

I showed a couple of this smoke pattern to a resort/baitshop owner yesterday. Several of my recent color shots were shown. He plucked the orang core shot in clear bluegill plastic and this smoke number out right now. I know they made it in the water yesterday because I saw them go on jigs and they're probably on the water again as I type.
