The biggest problem with powder is it will hard pack if you don't shake it up now and again . Keep it dry and keep it cool . The stuff will last years . I have some 5 yrs. old . Still good .

How often should I shake it up? Thanks for the reply. It might be winter before I start making any tackle. Just trying to decide if I should start buying paint now or wait.

I always end up having to move the box's out of the wifes' way so I shake it up then.  Cadman on TU has some powder 10 yrs or more with no problem.  Like Toad said keep it dry and cool, Live in a double wide trailer I use an old cooler to store it keeps it just fine.

I have found moisture ( humidity ) is my biggest issue.  I store mine in the garage.
