using this x2 color junebug.. its awful light color of junebug.. i dont have strawberry or black grape color.. i want that deep purple color.. what can i ad to it? black ?
-
That depends on the colorant, really. Either add more Junebug or add some Black, or both.
I don't use Junebug colorant or X2. I use non-X2 Black NB and non-X2 Purple NB, and at a rate of 15 drops Purple to 1 drop of Black, per ounce of plastic. 12 oz.s of plastic get 180 drops Purple and 12 drops Black (1 Tad .040" Moss Green flake, 1 Dash .015" Moss Green flake), that turns out a very fine, rich Junebug.

How many drops per oz of plastic are you using?
2 per oz gets me a nice junebug if memory serves.

I use X2 midnight blue to darken my purples

it is 2 d per oz .. its kinda light.. i am placing order for some mid. blu... think that will give me that deep purple look
