Title: Little different line
Post by: ctom on 05/28/14 15:28 UTC
Here's a 3.5" super fry done with a core that's made from twisted flashabou. I hand poured the belly section. Then I took 6 strands of flashbou from a hank of blue and twisted it into a rope. A tiny tap of super glue holds the ends together and then a small dab at the front of the bait holds the "rope" in place. I did this with red and purple too as you can see. The belly is scrap bluegill color and the top side is about the same only it has a little bit of blue hi lite and a small piece of blue mixed in while re-melting. Its hard to tell the two apart in the picture but there is separation in the hand. The end result isn't too bad but I think that now I've done it, it can be laid to rest.

The baits do have an interior glimmer that plays off the glitter real nice but they're a lot of work. Had to try.

Thats cool ctom,  what type of super glue do you use? the stuff I have will not work on soft plastic baits at all, it turns them mushy.

Its advertised as fishing glue designed for attaching plastics.
