This toad is done by pouring green into the spru hole and shooting in red right away. The trick to getting this to work good on this mold is clamping it flat, I made a spru extender out of copper pipe with a 90deg. bend to make shooting possible with the injector vertical.

Nice work guy!

That turned out really nice.

Thanks you guys, got any ideas for color combos? The color you pour first has to be somewhat transparent so the "core" can show through.

very nice

Cool looking bait. Good idea on the elbow as well.

Chartreuse, then pump the purple.

Great core shot. I've tried with less than favorable results. Have better luck with tip from matt at get together. Tom has also done some great tricked out baits. 8)

I'll try it, thanks

My first core shots were not that great but everything seemed to come together on these, and I always love to see what Tom is shooting, gets the wheels turning.

Try pouring black and then shooting in some real bright fluorescent orange. Or the black, then chartreuse.

NICE. That's hittin' as a Frog, but BAngin' as a Craw color. Makes me want to get set up to melt two colors!

Black and Blue! One thing I have learned...Do NOT Stay Away From Dark-colored Frogs, for fishing as topwater Frogs! I fished dark colors and the bite was killer, then switched to natural colors and brighter colors (in gin-clear water) and the bite almost stopped completely, switched back to darks and the bite got back to what it was...I've shot a LOT of dark Frogs since. Maybe try Grande Bass' "Trophy Hunter" (Junebug on Green Pumpkin/Red). College/School colors come to mind.
While Black and Blue is a Classic Laminate (though not always a laminate), Junebug is always a Mono...so how about a Junebug that's styled after a Black and Blue? Green with Green Flake as the 1st pour then shoot a Deep Dark Purple down the middle? Call it "D's JadeBug".

Chartreuse, then pump the purple.
C'mon, you know that's only for fish on that side of the Mississippi... DF should maybe try a blue/silver combo where he lives.

Thanks for all the great ideas guys, Here is blue fleck with a green char core.

Great looking frogs. I have to try that core shot.

DF are you pouring the color into the extended sprue and then shooting or pouring into the regular sprue laying flat then adding the extender and shooting 2nd color?

I clamp the mold flat, place the extender in, pour into the extender until its almost full, then shoot the second color.
