Title: Heat guns

Hey guys I'm wondering if they make a heat gun that you can set the temperature? Like say to 350 degrees. The only ones I have seen are a high and low setting. I ordered one like that but I'd return it if I could find one that has a temperature setting. Thanks for the help guys

The $20 one works good for heating your jigs you just have to get the count for each size head down - the 1/16th oz head I do 4 seconds on each side and dip.

I've been using this one for over a year.  Works just fine.  Lowest temp is 420°

I have the adjustable Ryobi and I love it.
We'll worth the money.
When I do heat shrink tubing on my assist setups dialing down the temps is great. Them I can turn it up for jigs.
I keep it lower for smaller jigs and higher for bigger jigs.
Smaller ones can melt if I'm not careful on the heat but turning the temp down helps a lot and I don't have to be so careful.
A regular gun works fine but I like the one I have its more versatile for me and if I had to do it over I'd still spend the extra for the adjustable Ryobi.

Where can you get a ryobi? Does home depot or menards carry them?

I found them online! Actually I paid the same amount for my first one as ryobi

The Wagner is the one I use. It is more then fine for the job.

I had to replace my Wagner after about five years.  I replaced it with another one.

I bought my Ryobi at my local Home Depot.
Being able to dial in the temp is so nice. Especially when I want to do some heat shrink tubing. It is nice to be able to turn down the heat for that.
And then I can turn it back up for jigs. Lower for small jigs an ounce or less and turn it up for stuff bigger than 1 ounce.

Usually I guesstimate where 350* is and go from there.My Ryobi has a 200* setting and then goes to 500*. So I counts the clicks between the two lights and guesstimate where I am at. It has colored lights that light up different colors when you reach each temp setting.
 If you put the jig right up to the tip it can still melt them But an inch or two away and you won't have to worry about it.
