Title: BIG Worms...
Post by: Jason on 09/09/11 12:16 UTC
I poured up some big worms (10" - 13") yesterday in soft and regular and they turned out really nice.  I checked the hardness of a Berkley Powerworm and it is actually pretty hard.  While the soft feels really good, I don't think it would last many cast before tearing.  I was curious what you pour your big worms in (Soft, Medium, Hard or a blend)???

Thanks,

Jason

I don't have a long history so please keep my comments in perspective.  I poured a 50/50 mix of Lurecraft Soft with CC Medium on the 7.5 Ribbon Tail and thought it came out real nice as far as a blend of action and durability.

It depends on the body size of the worm. Bigger the body the softer I go.  1/4" body I go with medium.
