Thanks Jason and Company;
I received my "new style" 3" Skinny Carrot molds today. As usual, they are flawless . The sprue is down the center of the mold - like the Small Frys and 2.5" Wutz-Its. It injects wonderfully, and looks like a string of firecrackers when you remove them from the mold. Once again, great customer support.

Roger on'nat, PJM!!! CCM's shoot extremely well, if I do my part...I've figured out that You HAVE TO fill up the sprue as You withdraw the injector, and they've been KILLER since I realized this. I have 2 Irwin Quick-Grips 6" clamps and clamp ALL 3 of the Carrot molds at the same time, just a Good-n-Snug clamping pressure and there is ZERO little plastic "fins" where the halves come together. Also, I clamp the Hinge-Side first so it "settles" at the hinge, then the 2nd clamp tightens up the "open-ends" of the molds...I believe this also puts less "un-natural" pressure on the mold (clamping hinge-side 1st).
After taking them out of the mold, I arrange them flat, as though they're still in the mold so they cool straight. So far, SO good!

Does the 3" skinny carrot work as a tail mold for the 6" skinny carrot?

No. I will start a different thread regarding a tips for the Carrots.
