I usually use about 5 drops of X2 watermelon or watermelon brown (my favorite) to 4 oz of plastic
then I start with 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of .040 black glitter, depends on the individual's taste

I have non-X2 Watermelon (CCM).  My Watermelon base color (not including flake/pearl/hilite/sink) is 96 drops to 12 oz.s plastic.  Very rich color that's still very transluscent and not at all cloudy/milky/murky.

If I was making Watermelon Seed, I'd add 1 Pinch .015" Black flake and 1 Dash .040" Black flake to 12 oz.s....that's just my taste.

I really like to add a touch of micro glitter red to it. It reflects very nice. I always add my glitter to hot plastic

It seems that Watermelon Green ( with a brown overcast ) is an almost universally used color.  I wonder if it closely mimics a craw's color in the water; or is a perceived thing on the part of fishermen.

Just remember the color of flake you use greatly influences the overall appearence. Red flake will make it appear more brown.

Good catch monte..Very true.... With poly glitter. sorry I should of said mine is metal thus the add to hot plastics. Metal will not darken it at lest from what I've seen

Here is the formula I have been using for watermelon.  Took me a while to get it the way I wanted even though it isn't real involved.  I'm a bit of a perfectionist though  :P
1/2 cup plastic
3 drops Green Pumpkin (Lurecraft)
1 drop watermelon (Lurecraft)
1 drop Natural (Lurecraft)
4 drops Lime green (Lurecraft)

Optional: 2-3 drops watermelon 101 (lureworks) if you feel like it needs just a little more watermelon vibe to it.
