Okay this is the list I have if anyone is out PLEASE speak now!!! Let's stick with 4 baits and 4 of the same color of each bait. We have 20 folks so 2 groups of 10 as they signed up. Each person makes 10 bags, that include one for yourself. Please label your bag A or B depending on the group. I think that would be better for Do-It to keep from having a mess when they ship.

Can I do 3 plastics (4ct. Per) and a crank per bag? Simply from a time stand point? Would everyone in group A be ok with that?

Guys this is a soft plastic swap first not a crank bait, jig, hula hoop, kitchen sink swap. If you wanna add stuff after your baits then great but let's focus on plastics and the great products Do-It and other great mold makers are putting out

While DF asked some questions before Firetiger said he wanted in, I didn't see him decide on being in until a few posts later. Not to be picky, but I would say Firetiger called it first.
As for people wanting to be moved from b to a for one of Drew's crankbaits, and I can't blame them because he does amazing work, that's just silly. I wasn't fast enough to make it to group a, I have no problem w/ not getting a crankbait, Drew. They aren't that expensive and I know where to find you! If you think you've got time to make 20, sweet deal for us. But don't overwork yourself. You've had enough health problems this year!

To help the guy setting it up as well as the great people at do- it for shipping the groups are what they are I apologize for any inconvenience or over sights but please understand that it takes time to organize swaps and those who run swaps that have full time jobs and family time so time is limited... Meaning simple is always best. Let's have fun and makes some killer baits.

I've got that mold too. It makes a dynamite big fish bait. I was going to include it in my bait pack, but after seeing yours I think I'll silently slink back into a corner and make something else.

I'll hopefully get my box out next week. Been working a lot of overtime; so not quite finished shooting baits, but not far now!

Mine will be in the mail on the 24th. I've been super busy with school and work so I haven't had a lot of time to shoot baits and no time to fish :o
I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone is making/has made though.

Mine will go out next week. My daughter had surgery and her recovery has taken about a week, but I have one set ready to go.

Mine went out today hope group A is happy with it. I didn't get everything done I wanted to do. I had to hurry going to the hospital soon to get a new knee. Will have a couple of months of recovery time on my hands soon.

IT has been it the works for three years know. Department of Labor finally gave the ok to get it done. I have 5 appointments between now and the 8th of December. On the 8th of December is when I just the knee replacement done. So i want to thank you for the prays CTOM, hope all goes well. I know Theresa will be the driving force to a speedy recovery. :o

Box is heading out today. You guys are getting 2 bass and 2 panfish baits, each type is a different color. 2 colors are proven performers and 2 are new colors for me. Hope you guys like them!

Mine are all basic single color pours as well. Don't worry about it Carl; look at what catches fish, simple single color baits.
Had this been late Dec/Jan I'd probably have done quite a bit more quantity-wise and some 2 and 3 color baits. The new color I did on a panfish bait for you guys is all kinds of bling. Might actually scare the fish away it's so shiny. ;D

Great because the colors and baits I have chosen really produce extremely well for me and others this year, but are the good old basics. Two BFLs, one State and one club all won this year on the ones I'm sending. Of course I wasn't the one winning! I always win practice.

All Bait Swap packages were shipped via Priority Mail today 12/4/14. I never heard from TeamHillbilly in group B. I'm not sure what happened there, but those of you in group B will be a little light.
Over all I'm really impressed with what rolled through here. Y'all have a lot to be proud of and I was privileged to be able to see everyone's work. You will all find out soon enough when you get your shipments. Thank you Mo Qwack for getting it all started and a huge thank you to all who participated.

efishnc sent me a some special fishing bait treats that were intended to be shared with those participating in the bait swap. I think he would have enjoyed participating himself but he has one of those schedules that doesn't lend itself well to committing a ton of time. In the end however, he wanted to share with everyone involved without reciprocation.
Yes, I know, pretty cool of him, huh? 8)
Anyway... those of you who participated in the bait swap should look for an envelope to arrive via 1st class mail in the next few days courtesy of Mr. efishnc himself.

Holy Smokes...I'm sitting in my recliner with my box of goodies spread out over my formally fat gut...feel like a kid at Christmas. I want to acknowledge each of you guys personally, but must wait until tomorrow. One exception...DF...When I saw that toad I wanted to pin it on my lapel, find a soapbox to stand on and start singing "Over There". Very patriotic, artful and way, way cool. Good job.

It's on the way, David. I appreciate you stepping up to the plate the way you did. It was a classy move. I especially liked your swim jig. I've tried making my own, but wasn't happy with the results. I'm really happy that you participate as much as you do on the forum. It's a better place because of it.

Many classy people on the forum that I have to line up behind, such as yourself, Denny. I would like to share a boat with you sometime, but I just don't see me heading that way anytime soon... maybe if the Do-it fishing swap comes together?
The Jabber Jig is my favorite bait for cold water bass fishing. Slow-rolling gives it a nice wide wobble that has boated me many big fish. A couple of years ago, Do-it was nice enough to feature a picture of me with a nice bass caught on this very same model of Jabber Jig (in their 2012 catalogue).
I hope you stick a slob with it... try fishing Potato Slough, it was my favorite spot (on the Delta) when I was out there.

I know Potato Slough well. In fact, one of my 100% holes is on Little Potato about 50 yards up from Potato. There's a sparse tule line... If the tide's right and if the wind's not crankin' at 25mph you'll pick up a 3, or better. I think it should be named "Denny's Secret Spot". Don't tell anyone else.

I fished both quite a bit as well. There is (or at least used to be) some really good pilings associated with an irrigation station on the north bank, by a slight inside corner... I would have to get on google maps to give you any more detail, but that's was my "X"... you know the spot?

Our local news has been lit up lately with reports of package thefts from porches and mail boxes. They even caught one jerk the other day. He had several items in his car that he'd un-wrapped and tossed the wrappings, but was caught because a neighbor saw him run up on a porch and get back in his car with a package UPS had just dropped off. Apparently he has been following UPS trucks.

He had several items in his car that he'd un-wrapped and tossed the wrappings, but was caught because a neighbor saw him run up on a porch and get back in his car with a package UPS had just dropped off. Apparently he has been following UPS trucks.

My neighbor works for FedEx and had this happen a few years ago. Noticed a guy jump out and grab packages then was following him at a distance. He called the cops and since he wasn't far away from the cop shop, he delivered the dummy red handed to the cops. He still brings it up this time of year for a chuckle.

Thanks guys... I'll try to keep the stuff in the bags they came in so I can reply to you personally with fish caught on the various creations. I'm sure I will be able to catch fish on just about everything except maybe that exotic stuff imported from the west coast... (and might be able to catch fish on that stuff as well, if I can get the avocado flavoring off). :P

When I was talking to Denny the other day he mentioned something about "avocado" scent or something like that and he said that's not what it is. Apparently he has a rash and got butt rub on the plastics as they were going in the bags.

I just used the Essential Series Plastisol for the first time this weekend and I'm very pleased with it. I tested by using the whole pint as clear for dipping...super clear, hardly any bubbles. Great stuff. Thanks Do-It for the trial size. I just ordered 2.5 gallons of it!

I want to thank group A for the baits in my box. Can't wait to get back on my feet long enough to get out in the garage and cook me some plastic. Got to get the doctor to do that on 6 January. It will be here soon

Trout Lake in Vilas Co? That's doable. We've fished the small lakes right around it in September the last 2 years.

I typically only travel north looking for musky; if I happen to catch others, it's generally unplanned.

Lots of people fish walleye up there. Don't eat the big ones and you don't worry too much about Mercury bioaccumulating. We fish for whatever will hit up there, lots of good bass lakes there.

There's some lay down wood around the islands and the walleye sit under it. You can catch them flippin!

That sounds like the flippin' they do for walleyes on Winnebago in the late spring going into summer. The fish can be crazy shallow (about 1ft of water) laying in the reeds and act more like bass.
