Used the colors I had on hand, need to order a few more. I'm not satisfied with the way it turned out but I don't think the fish will care.

Nice!! I'm not sure the fish are going to like it though, you should probably just make a few more and send them to me so I can check  ;D

What are the colors you used for it? I'm colorblind so it's a bit difficult to tell when there are so many colors.

From top to bottom:
Dark part from Kelly Green
Violet
Purple
Kelly Green
More Dark from KG
Olive
Dark from Grey
Grey
White
Yellow
Dark from Yellow
Orange

Then added light blue cheeks and some Copper colored tinsel like material all around.

When it was done and coated I hit the hairs with a black Sharpie to simulate the bars of a gill.

I'll tell you how to use that, get a 4" Mo Magic in chartreuse or green pumpkin with a chartreuse tail and thread it on that jig. Make a cast around shallow cover near the creek mouths right now, it will out fish just about and silicone or rubber skirted swim jig during this time and with the gill colors you used, it is going to be a killer!!! Great job!!! BTW, the big flair you get when tying hair to a poison tail makes for some wicked action which is why I do the same when I make swim jigs with hair. The hair is all flared out and when you reel it the hair compresses a bit and then slow it down and it will begin to open up, hopping, or bottom bouncing really exaggerates the pulsing or breathing action, awesome jig that you should try!!!

Thanks SJ, I have been waiting to throw the 4" MO but I have yet to get any from it's creator. Hopefully I'll get some out of the swap, if not then I'll raid Terrys tackle once we get to the Rock.
