Post by: walleyetracker85 on 11/25/14 07:30 UTC
Hey guys just wondering if anybody here uses Columbia coatings? I never hear them mentioned and wondering why? Am I better off sticking with rosey's?

They both have good powder. I would use either one.

Ok thanks gary! You just hear alot about roseys and not much about Columbia so I thought maybe they were bad or something

I haven't had issues with Columbia coatings paint either.
I know several guys on TU are using it as well.
I recently bought some plain white for base coating from Cadmans custom jigs and it works great and is very inexpensive also. He only has limited colors but its worth checking for the quality and price.

I've used Pro Tec, Roseys, Columbia and Prismatic.

I know one of the local tackle makers pretty well and he gives me samples of paints and top coats he uses.  Prismatic has some top coats that blow my mind.  They also have some pretty good paints.
