Anyone have the recipe for Yamamoto's Green pumpkin magic? Using do-its X2 color.
-
I would use CC Green and maybe a drop of white to flatten it out a bit. CC Green is a great bass color I use it a lot.

Using the X2 Green Pumpkin I'd just cut back on the amount of colorant used. If you are making a 4 ounce batch and the lighter version on the color calls for 5 drops, add 3 to start and maybe a 4th drop after cooking and checking the color.
I did a color comparison using an already-shot M-F color against the Zoom site's color plate a near dead ringer is MF56, chartreuse pumpkin. 20 drops to 4 ounces.
Looks like some black and gold flake too.

For those who would like to do their own color matching, here is a Zoom color plate link to help you out. http://zoombait.com/colors/ Here's another color plate I use often from Lunker City.

Another thing you can do is mix up a batch of plastic using a new color and shoot it into a bait that gives a wide range of densities. I like the 3" glider because the body has enough depth for the darkest color while the tail offers color on the thin end. I don't add anything but color to this color shot. When the plastic is cold I bag both the bait and the slug from the cup in a 1 quart freezer zip lock, label it by color and recipe [include which plastic is used] and hang it for future reference.
I have tackle boxes with separate bait colors from both Do-It and M-F that sit right here in the computer room. Its darned hard to judge a color off a monitor because every one will have a given amount of "no 2 alike syndrome". I like to see what a color really looks like compared to the color plate. In the long run all of these suggestions will save you time and messing around.

Go to Spike-it. Lureworks is one of their categories where they sell worm making supplies.
