Title: Painted some cranks for a fly swap
Post by: MO QWACK on 03/28/15 12:17 UTC
Since Josh has been posting all those awesome looking flies we arranged some sub par paint for some awesome flies. I hope you like em they were a blast to paint. It's always fun to paint the "battle" series and blue gill and rainbow trouts are by far my favorite pattern. They still need a couple more coats of CS but that's the easy part lol

They all look awesome! Definitely going to catch some nice fish on those. I'll hopefully remember to post a few pics of the flies before I send them out on Monday.

So here's a question for anyone who paints cranks, how do you do the spots on the trout pattern?

The difference between the men and boys is the boys like justin use marker and men only use paint  ;D I dip the end of a paper clip in paint and hand dot it. Some people turn the pressure way down and splatter paint it but you loose control on placement when you do that
