Hi Jim,

It does.  If you look at the bottom of the Swim Fry page it shows related items, it's the Go-Go Grub Tail Mold (not the most obvious name, but that's what it is).

With that said, and to keep you from loosing your mind, I would start with the mold and just cut the tails off and see if you like doing it that way.  It's not super hard to get them back in, but it can get a little frustrating.  If you are only making them for yourself and a few buddies it's probably not bad.  If you are making them to resell I would do a laminate vs. a different colored tail.

Thanks,

Jason

on some colors like this black and blue one side of the tail is black the other blue, my thinking is as the tail is working it will flash one or the other color.

Man o man do those look good!!!! How are you doing the laminates?

Those would be spectacular pulled behind a Lindy Rig (aka "Carolina Rig" !)  or vertical jigged for walleyes!

A+

How about putting them on a alabama rig when the shad are about that size?

A school of these would be unbelievable.  It was hard to show in the tank how good the action really is.  It would get hammered...

Microspoons;
The more I see your great baits from Jason's neat mold modification;
The more I believe this bait slow spider rigged will be a killer for Crappie; If you can keep the white bass off of it.  Your ability to create excellent color combos is outstanding.

Thank you, they are a good tight line bait especially when poured with soft. It allows the tail to move at really slow speeds. You can get a different tail color by pouring the top and bottom cavity then injecting the mold with your tail color. For me the tails are to hard to get in to the mold the other way. It could be done by having a mold for the body only that goes all the way to the edge of the mold with 1/8thinch of the tail included. Then all your doing is putting part of the tail (the easy part) in to the mold and injecting.

You are something else !  Really neat looking baits.  That's one cool way to get a lateral line.
How in the world are you controlling the open pour into such a small mold area?
