Title: Lamar lizard question
Post by: Carolina Fisher on 02/28/16 17:40 UTC
It's getting about that time here water temp is 46 . I know you have responded the most when I have asked about them . I have 100 ES watermelon and 100 ES junebug lizards ready to go. What I have noticed is the 2/0 straight hook I use with a reg 6 inch lizard looks small , the do it lizard is meaty . What hook are you using with it , 3/0 straight , 4/0 ? It's so big and that isn't a bad thing I'm tempted to throw it on a widegap . What do you reccomend sir?

Well I toss a lizard so very little I can't even really give you an honest answer. I just bought the ES Lizard mold used off a guy on here and am playing with the idea. But the truth be known I haven't fished a lizard in the last five years or better. I was thinking of a 5/0 hook.

I use a 4/0 off set round bend hook.
