I'm really excited about this bait and can't wait for you to get your hands on it.
The 3.5" Swim Shad is a great smaller Swim Bait. We tested and tweaked this bait over a couple weeks prior to giving it the final stamp of approval. The final testing came at night - to validate the action in the dark.
The Swim Shad passed with flying colors, landing several fish in a 30 min. period. This was the proof we were looking for; fish being attracted to the water displacement, being able to locate it, and then consume it.
The 3.5" Swim Shad measures approximately 3.5" in the mold and around 4" swimming. The bait is 3/8" wide and almost 5/8" thick at it's belly.
Recommended Rigging:
2.0 - 4.0 Swim Bait hook (the second picture shows it with a 4.0 SB hook - a 3.0 would be ideal)
1/8 - 1/4 oz. Jig Head or Swim Jig (the second picture shows a 1/8 oz. Swim Jig, the video shows it on a 1/4 oz. jig)
3 Cavity Injection / Hand Pour and Injection

Wicked Looking Bait. Jason; are the baits in the pictures hand poured bellies and injected tops or are they laminate injections?
-
Cool!!!!
I'll guess hand poured bellies on those as the laminate device (twinjector) will laminate the full bait, tail and all...

They are hand pour. If you look at the pic of the mold they are nice big cavities. Very easy to pour then inject. If I can recreate the color I'm going to enter it in the 30 colors contest Jim started. It looks great in the sun.

Thanks; I thought so based on the curve of the pearl coloring and the solid grey green nose and pure tail. Great job on the bait and the color. Can't wait to get a sample for disection.

Will you stop it now Jason
I think you should go on leave for a year so that we can afford to buy all the new molds.
That way we should have caught up on the new molds. LOL

This has been by far the biggest request of mine. Truthfully, I think it will supersede my expectations too. This mold is now on my Xmas list right there with the toad. If I don't get my hands on one by January, I guarantee an order Dec 31 on this mold. ;D ;D ;D. I've been searching for a swim bait that is unique and stands out from the average swim bait and by gosh, I believe Jason just produced it! ;)

Awesome ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

If I had two of these how many oz injector would I need? I am guessing a 3 oz injector is about right.

I haven't measured it, but I was shooting 3 molds at a time with 1 4oz injector.
