Title: Lurebuilding woman form Poland
Post by: Elizabeth Jagodzinska on 11/07/16 07:01 UTC
Hello all, it's my first post on this forum.
I am a girl from the Poland. I'm crazy about fishing and lurebuilding. My English is not very good . I'm still learning the English language. I do all my bait to the beginning to the end. I do not make use of any purchased components.
I am looking for forum builders bait. I'm looking, I'm looking and I can not find.
Only only those on which they are presented with bait purchased forms (eg. The company "do it", etc.) I am looking for anglers doing your bait in wood or metal .And here are some of my bait

Welcome!!! I love the metal work you do, you are very talented indeed. The site that could help you the most would be www.tackleunderground.co m , they have separate section for wood baits and wire baits, wire baits will be for spoons and spinners like the ones you posted pictures of. You'll find that a lot of use spinner makers will bend our own wire and create our own designs but blades and clevises are normally purchased because it allows one to make more lures in a shorter time span. The other thing is the blade types and quality has really come a long way, it would be really hard to cut and hand form a blade that will spin as well as one stamped from high quality brass. Again, welcome to the forum and check out the site I mentioned, that will be a better fit for the type of lure crafting you do.

Wonderful work, Elizabeth.  I envy people, like you, who can take a piece of metal and turn it into a piece of art.  I hope you continue in the forum.  You will be enriched by being here as will we by your presence.  Welcome.

Beautiful work. I bet you are proud to catch a fish on something you made by hand.

You could wear those on your ears as jewelery :)

Welcome aboard and don't worry about your English ...it's fine and a heck of a lot better than our Polish!

I would really like to see how you make those blades! Those are fantastic!

The Pike spoons are really impressive also!

I also build earrings and one that can be removed from the ear to set up a triple hook and fishing. In Poland there are a lot of outstanding splendor of lures builders. 90% of them builds wobblers but more and more popular are soft bait. In the pictures below is a Mad King - 10 cm spoon killer pike. Stainless steel. There is also a small spoon for fishing trout brawn. There are also spinners "rosa" No.1 and "rosa" no.0 are those that look like Aglia MEPSS

Judging by your lures you seem to have found that fishing is a universal language. I can't speak or understand Polish [or BareKnuckleJigs for that matter] but I understand perfectly what your pictures show.

HOLY CROW ! Those lures truly are works of art.

I have read that English is one of the toughest languages to learn/master.  So don't worry about it. Your English is better than some folks I know who were born here.

I for one who would be interested in learning more about the fishing in Poland. Like what are the popular species and how do fish for them ?

Welcome to the board. I hope you stick around to share more of your work with us.

I build bait, not only in metal and more spoon.
Wobblers a wedding. Wobblers polyurethane foam and wood. Hand-painted.
And here I have a question: What do you use varnish coating the last layer of bait.
In Poland, they are varnishes "hartzlack" or "Domalux". A I am looking a lot harder clearcoats.
When I was a child I loved Little fable called "reksio" - from the name of the dog
I had to make a few wobblers with Reksio

Great looking lures and fishes! If you ever do a video about how to make these spoons from start to finish, I'm sure we'd all love to see them. And your English is plenty good enough.

I giggled when I seen the last set of pics-don't know why really, just something about puppies and flowers on fishing lures tickled my funny bone.  Thinkin outside the box and I 100 percent approve.

When the fish all day do not want to get caught and I need to go home. I showed fish what I think about them. This is a very good lure to the end of the day without fish.

My new project for Slavic Viking. Pike spoon 10 cm. The copper plate 1 mm. In addition, weighted down with a brass plate inscription.
I called it the "Copper princess'"
I have a question. Is Guadalupe Mountains National Park trout fishing? Do any of you out there catching?
One more question. How to move my thread on the thread dedicated spoon. About here:
