Canga, I just got mine last week, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I thought they had 5 cavities.

the es series does have 5 cavities, if you are referring to my "i can shoot 6 at a time" comment, i meant that i have the ES (5 cavitites) and cnc (1 cavity) so i can do 6 at a time instead of 1

Canga, Yes, I understand, I thought you meant 6 cavities in the es essential mold. 6 at a time, you can make a bunch in a hurry.

Have any of you tried to use the dual injector with the ripper essential molds yet? Was wondering if the cnc mold performs better then the essential series mold do to the multi-cavity when it come to dual injection.

I tried know only the bottom two cavities would take to the technique and met with limited success. Nothing to take a picture of. I blocked all of the cavities off by shooting with junk plastic and leaving baits in the cavities except the bottom one each sprue. It may have been the injectors, block and mold needed more pre-warming but things didn't go as planned. The bait from the three bait string might have passed muster had I enough to drink.

So if one want to make two tone rippers you would be better of with the cnc mold?

The CNC yes. The ES mold I'm still working on it.
