Our awesome friend Tommy Skarlis asked my to give everyone an update. First and foremost we need special prayers for him, his surgeons and full medical staff tomorrow morning. He will be going in for surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible at 6am. Please pray for steady hands, and wisdom for the surgeons since this is very touchy. The surgery is set for 4-6 hours but they said to be prepared for possibly up to 10 hours. He will be in ICU through the weekend, and from the surgery they will put the rest of the follow up plan in place. There are many risks but at this point we all know God is in control
He is amazing in his faith when I talked to him and is preparing for Victory. He wants to make sure that everyone understands his testimony and he gives all credit to God and truly does feel blessed to share this story with so many.
He is going to be in a battle and he is ready for it, knowing that it will be long and hard and he will need to be in his best physical and spiritual shape of his life.
He shared these couple of photos with me. One is him in his Tempress chair watching his boys this past Easter weekend. He truly felt blessed to be home and hug, and love up the family.
The second he shared with me earlier this week from the windows at Mayo. I asked him if he saw any Kings or Princes, in typical Tommy fashion he said just Jesus :-)
I ask all of you to Pray and understand even in these times Tommy is praying for all of us. I love you my friend and we have the A Team working overtime for you.
