The cabin property was bought by Carole's parents in 1971. The built a log gateway and put a name plate on the top rail and called the place "The Buckhorn". A while back we were checking out a huge wine shop/liquor store in the Twin Cities. I was snooping in the bourbons and came across this jug.

So in keeping with the family tradition, I happened back there to the liquor store today and picked up a bottle. Actually they added this small batch version to the previous black labeled one I found earlier. The small batch bourbons are generally a much smoother drink and this one marvels at 4 Roses small batch which is super smooth. The Buckhorn small batch is half the price of the Roses. I don't drink much of this stuff but I thought the jug would go well in the shop where I have, what else, but buck horns. Just gotta love how things come together.
