Do it molds crappie spinner jig

Hi just got the do it mold crappie spinner jig I order everything do it says I needed when I opened the mold it says something about a swivel or split ring  do I need these to get started thanks

I have this mold and really like it.  You need a swivel/ring to attach the blade as you would any other spinnerbait style lure.  Enjoy and happy casting.
