Cross Tail Carrot

Can anyone tell me how the cross tail carrot is different (action wise) from the regular or skinny carrot?

The tail gets thin, then a little thicker at the end. It has more of a wag than quiver.

It is also flat on one side providing more resistance when used on a drop shot.
