Does anybody use the laminate plate with this mold? Or do most of you guys who have it just pour the top or bottom color?

I use the laminate plate.  I am "hand pour challenged"  and I prefer to avoid the hassle surrounding having two cups of plastic "just right" simultaneously.

I am in the "hand pour challenged" crowd...but even I can get a good looking bait hand pouring this mold. If I want a perfect bait...I go to the laminate plate, it's the only way I can get them to look the same.

I hand pour these, the opening is really wide so it is pretty easy to do.

I have the laminate plate but I have trouble getting the tail to fill out. I have tried heating the mold, heating the plastic pretty runny, and different injection speed rates and I still can't get it consistently. I have just been shooting them solid color, but I might try the hand pour option. Great question and responses.

Ok thanks guys.  I'm not too bad at hand pouring so I think I will just pour them
