Zipper Tube?

Sorry for all the questions...

On the Zipper tube can the insert for the tube be left out to make a solid upper portion of the bait?

Yes,  I've made some solid Zipper Tubes.  There is a plug insert that screws into the spline to keep plastic out.

bill on mine tube i used a 1/4 20 thread set screw.  to get soild bodies

im thinking of getting it for squid style imitation for saltwater.  I think if you swim it it would give you a small baitfish/bream style look.. Like a KVD swim jig.

I wonder that a bit too Paul... I would assume they think it's a craw like any other "tube presentation" but I suppose in the correct colors they could perceive it as a bait fish or other "swimmy"critter.

Once you get the fish to talk and tell you the secret... give me a holler, will ya?
