Welcome to the boards! The large injector comes with only one nozzle. I think the pic of the extra nozzle is to show the three locking pins.

We don't currently handle extra nozzles for the large injector, but will be very soon as they were included in our last order with the manufacturer.  We will add them to the site upon their arrival.

well after i ordered the large injector and about 300 dollars worth of other misc. product from caney creek to get started. im a little disapointed the large injector dosnt come with the nozzle that is shown in the picture. if i would have been more patient to wait for some replies on this topic before ordering i may have opted for the kit. witch would have given me more cc bucks but i went with my gut and pieced together my own kit. regardless cc seems to be the best on the market as far as molds and service goes. this wont hinder me being a customer in the future just bummed. i would have paid 100 bucks for the injector if it came with the extra nozzle. ggrrrr!!!

I personally can't imagine clamping up enough molds to use more than one injector full... 9.5 ounces is a lot of plastic.  I can certainly see using more than one nozzle with smaller injectors, but that's just me.  I'm sure there are some that would want or need a second nozzle and we'll have them available soon.  In the mean time I will see what I can do to eliminate the slightly misleading photo.

The injector is a BIG injector.  It is the largest single injector that I have seen.

First off, welcome to the site.  As far as the 9.5 oz CCM injector, I have one and love it!!!!!  I can shoot 7-12 molds at once with it depending on the the molds, air temp, and how cool the molds are.  Once I get them rolling warm, I can get at least 9 to turn out perfect.  It isn't for everyone, but if you are mass producing it is wonderful.  When I am doing this, I am using 4 cups of plastic at a crack and then doing another 2 cups to complete 15 bags of the 15 molds.  I am not sure what nozzle you were looking for or at, but the one that came with it works with all our molds, even one Jacobs Baits mold that has a different inlet than any other one out there that I have found.  Hope this helps and good luck.

I do know the large injector gets HOT..real HOT!!!  I had one, sold it. I am sure it's a great item, lol, just too hot!!!

I have a couple med. injectors from CC/Do-It. One, the nozzle just flies off w/ the least amount of pressure. Told CC about it, never heard back. I try and use it only when I have to.

The other med. injector I have from CC/Do-It is outstanding, smooth and dependable. I shoot as much 8 cups at a time (over 30 good sized molds) with it...it gets hot too, just change a glove out every now and then, growing new skin ain't that difficult, it's the fingerprints that are tricky ! Med injector is easier to handle!!!  :P :-\ :-* :o 8)

I agree... the large injector is a "hand full" and it does get hot.  That's a lot of dag gum plastic in side there and it can be a little harder to control as it is a little heavier when full.  An extra nozzle might fit into someones plan, but I couldn't see it fitting into mine.  I rather enjoy the smaller injector.  I use the larger one at Do-It on occasion and I have found to appreciate the smaller version for my personal use.

I have seen in videos changing tips when reheating makes it look easier however from what you all are doesnt look like i will have to reheat much untill i aquire more molds. i was in a bit of a mood yesterday after placing a large order for the first time i appolagise for that it can be a bit nerve racking jumping into this blind. I went with the large injector not only for its size but for the safety of the tip locking on and the way it looked like it had decent grip to it. jerry you were awesome on the phone today very informative with all my questions. look forward to doing more buisness doit and caney creek.

frogger welcome aboard by the way.. we all ave those days no one takes things personally here, i think :P. and making baits is very addictive, you start with ine two molds then you end up with 30 or 40, then 75, then your trying to sell molds to buy new molds.. LOL

Y'all are correct with the large injector getting hot, but I use a glove by Kinko and it works great.  I have not had any problem with any injector or Pyrex going through the glove and I have spent upwards of 4 hours at a crack and not had a problem.  Hope this helps.
