Riley's first game is tomorrow [Thursday} afternoon at 4:00 PM central time, 5 Eastern.

For those interested, go to www.NCAA.com, then find division 3 schools and do you navigating from there. Riley plays on the Rochester [Minnesota]  RCTC Yellowjackets team. Can't be there, but my heart is with him and the team. The game is a live stream.

Best of luck Riler!

I'll keep ya'll up to snuff. Riley's team is ranked #2 in the nation. The first game is with the #1 team in the nation. We have a chance at beating them. The Jackets have beaten division 2 and division 1 teams this year.

God be with the Jackets tomorrow!. By the way, I won't be around the website for a couple hours starting at about 3:45 pm. lol

They played hard but they beat themselves with turn-overs and missed shots. Best they can hope for now is a third place. They lost by 2 points and could have whipped their New York opponents had they settled down and played ball like they know they can.

The high school team Riley played his basketball on had some real outstanding players until they got to college level play. Many tried out and were handed the no play slip. Being on this team with limited play time, sticking it out, is a great education for him. I asked him on Monday evening how many of his old school buds went on to play college anything and his reply was "one", he played football. Then I asked how many went on to participate in a nationnal play-off and he said, "just me". I just smiled and told him I sure do think the world of him. None of these kids are losers. I'm proud of the whole lot of them that are out east right now. They get a big thumbs up from this old boy and the text that went to the team from his family lets every one of that team know we see them as winners no matter what the game scores say.
