I call this a winter craw jig because it is much smaller than my football craw jig. This is a 1/16oz weedless ball jig with a size #2 hook, and because the jig is smaller I do some things different with it. The 1st thing is I tie in pheasant tail fibers at the bottom to act as the feelers/mouth parts of the craw and I do to add a little more bulk because I don't have bushy claws on this, they are trimmed down but I still need some weight so it falls on a 45 degree angle rather than the head just falling straight down. I add those pheasant tail fibers and then tie in the flash and on this one I have black bio-silk skirt strands to act as the long feelers or antennas, and then a small chenille ball to separate the rabbit strip claws finishes out the bottom of the jig. Once all that is done I tied in black chenille and moved up to tied 2 sets of "legs" in, they are simply brown bio-silk skirt strands and then when they are done the chenille is wrapped up to the head and tied off to complete the jig. I use an FG-9 weedguard on these, they are 1/16" diameter and do a good job of preventing the little jig from getting wedged in the rocks all the time, it isn't 100% but it does help and it doesn't hurt with hook ups so I continue to use it. These are really good when the water gets into the 40's, I find the smaller one will do better when the water gets below 48 degrees, give it a shot and if you want to try these and get stuck let me know and I'll help.
