Late entry but here is one of the 50 plus pictures from our current trip. The Slash Shad is tearing them up. I will post more but here is my son Daniel with his broken hand and all), with a 5.4 smallie. I have sooo many more pics to choose from. Will post plenty though.

We have caught a LOT of fish in the couple of days we have been here in WI. He will catch plenty more but I have to head back tomorrow.

Jim

PS He is registered as ghostbaitsjr I think.

Here is the largest one from our Wednesday trip.  Its a 5.4 oz largemouth caught again on a mad dad.  But this time it was rigged with just a jig head.  The water had dropped about  4-5 ft the last 2 days and the fish just were not wanting to bite very well.  She was sitting on a shelf in about 2 ft of water.  Althought you cant tell in this picture she had a bloody tail, like she had been on a nest and the water was 78 degrees, which is extremely warm.  If you look at the other pictures i put up you can see this on one of the fish.

ok well i cant get the pictures to upload on here, but i will put them in the gallery.

Congrats to Bassin85 and Ghost  JR for a tie this week for Big Bass, both with 5.4lbs.  Both will receive a $20 gift certificate to CCM.  Congrats!!!

There is one week left to determine the final weekly Big Bass ($20), overall Big Bass ($50), and best 5 fish stringer ($100).  That's $170 up for grabs this week.

The weekly code is 3333.

Good Luck and Tight lines!

Jason

If there is a tie on one of the monthly prizes it will be split between the anglers.

I haven't gone through the gallery and totaled them up yet.  I was going to wait and do it once the tourny was closed.  You should be able to tell by looking in the gallery and this post.

I finally got my entries in.  I know they're a little late, but since I already took the pictures, I decided to post them any way.  I fished Saturday with my dad and my son.  No luck on the Wutz-It, then I had a fish bite a toad sticker in half.  A little while later I had a fish bite the tail off of the toad sticker.  Meanwhile, my dad was killing me with a senko.  I switched to a carrot that I got in the bait swap and bam, I connected with a couple nice bass.  I had one about 4 1/2 get off right at the boat.  My son wanted to net all the fish, so that one got away from him.  Oh well, he was having fun and that's what it's all about anyway.

Sunday my son and I went out.  I decided to fish a little deeper since the water temperature was 85 degrees.  It was more fun swimming than fishing on Saturday.  I caught 5 fish, all in about 20 feet, and all on the 7" watermelon red Wutz-It.  I fished for half the day then really started to feel bad.  I had spent a week at the beach with my family then two days of fishing and I think all that sun and heat finally got to me.  It was all I could do to get back in and lay down all night.  I felt terrible, but now I'm ready to fish another day.  Don't take those hot days for granted!

Then I had a tire blow out on the truck on the way home.  Not fun changing the tire as 18 wheelers are flying by next to you!

Thanks Jason!!!  Too bad there wasnt a junk fish pot because i caught about a 20-25 lb drum.  I thought for the longest time it was going to be that bass that I have always wanted to catch.

I caught a Buffalo last year and thought I had a new world record.  My scale only goes to 15lbs and it buried that.  I'm guessing it was in the 20lb range.  I had a bruise for a couple weeks from the but of my rod.  It was really exciting!
