glitter
« on: 12/12/13 20:59 UTC »
hey I have a local supply for glitter that holds up to the heat and saves me shipping cause I am north of the border, but I am having a small problem doing smoke because the colour is bleeding off the glitter. my question is has anyone used aluminum glitter? they say it is heat resistant to 550 f and I use a cook pot not a microwave so it shouldn't be an issue that way. any thoughts or tips ? the problem is if I try red smoke I get a red tinge in the plastic. 32 oz plastic, 1/4 cup salt, 2 tbls red 1 tbls black 2 drops 2 x white for smoke, 3 tbls softner 1 tbsp. stabilizer

Try adding the glitter just before you shoot it.
