Whats the difference in table salt and pickling salt ? I like to get my stick baits as transparent as possible but have been using table salt and was wondering is pickling salt is a better choice but i know nothing about it,i use HD for some colors,thanks for the help i know is coming........... Jay

Pickling salt has no harmful additives. It's basically kosher salt.

As far as color it really won't make it any better in my opinion it's just not poison to the fish.

It's hard for me to get away from HD but pool salts price is very nice lol I just had salt

I LIKE THE "HD" BUT WHEN IT COMES TO A SMOKE COLOR IT KINDA DOESNT LOOK THE SAME LOL,AND I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE WHO POSTED .........JAY

First I've heard of using pool salt. Is it coarse or finely ground? I really like the HD, but for the price of pool salt, I may have to give it a shot. ---Tim.

Its very fine, and is pure, it dissolves extremely well, its made to go through fine filters in the pool!
