Chartreuse Colorants
« on: 12/29/13 16:03 UTC »
I have the 2 chartreuse colorants before the x2 went live. The x2 chartreuse green seems a lot more green in the picture online then what I have. Has anyone used them both and how close are they?

You can't always believe what you are seeing on a computer. Every monitor is different and can show colors way different from what they are in the hand.

I have the X2 chartreuse, X2 green chartreuse and the X2 fluorescent green. In both of the green colors, I add just a single drop of regular old green [4 ounce batch] to the X2 green color if I want to get a stronger green in the hand. Green is a strong color by itself so a little goes a long way when trying to bring some strength to the Fluorescent and Green chartreuse, but it works wonders.

Thanks for the info but it really didn't answer the question of is it similar in color to the pre x2 chartreuse green. I have been using the chartreuse green and about to run out. It is time to reorder and I don't want a complete different color.

Sorry Bud...I can't answer that one because I don't have the pre-X2 green chartreuse. I have a green chartreuse in another brand of colorant but the X2 sets that one way back on the list. I use the off-brand for tweaking colors now.
