It definitely takes a long time to make them! I'd suggest getting more than one lol. I'm hoping it's a bass slayer anyways, I haven't used it yet but I love the action

Great job Jeremiah! Those all look great! You can do some pretty awesome things with this lure too.

DF, it is a bass slayer. I have the Tiny Toad Sticker and absolutely killed the bass on it this year. My favorite way to fish them is on a Jika rig.  I cannot wait to rig these on a football swing jig. I highly recommend getting this mold!

VERY good looking baits!

I use that mold a lot...because I modify the baits so much.

1. As is as a "creature" bait. I bet it would work really good on the new swing jig crawled along the bottom!

2. I trim the long flappers off and leave the claws and it makes a really nice, small package craw. SUPER for smallmouth! (I also trim off the front legs sometimes) leaving only the back two. It really looks nice on a small football jig because the jig looks like the end of tail.

3. I trim off the legs and claws (leave the flappers) and use it as a trailer.

4. I trim the legs and claws (leaving the flappers) and fish it Texas rig as a worm type bait.

And don't forget to trim off the the little pouring alignment tabs on the claws and flappers and then wonder why the bait doesn't look right in the water!!!! I've only done that a few times!!!! ;D

I'm planning on fishing these with the worm nose sinker this year, and I'm WAY excited about it... but with the crazy cold, I'm not sure we will have enough summer to thaw all of the ice we've made this winter. ???
