I didn't feel like messing with the boat so I went to the fishing pond in the park and no luck. Then I went to a wooded part of the park that has a stream running through it. After about 20 casts to the same piece of cover I caught a nice small mouth, then about 15ft away in a fallen tree I got a large mouth. They are not monsters but for a shallow stream in the park I was more than happy.
