Yep, took the wife fishing today. First time I've been all year. I didn't catch a thing. The wife caught a couple of nice perch but not enough to keep.........
Jason, I fished the sample of the small wutz-it you sent. couldn't get the perch to quit pecking at the darn thing! One finally got it off the hook and since that was the only one I had I fished some 2" BT grubs I had poured awhile back that I didn't like the color of. Guess what the only thing we could catch or get bites on.....yep....the bad colored grubs!
Anyway, it was over 90 degrees and hot. Wasn't expecting to really catch any fish anyway, and had a great time just finally getting on the water again!
Too bad I'm broke right now or I'd be ordering a wutz-it mold tonight!
Soon as the bills get paid and I make a little money I'll be spending it with you Jason!!!!!
Sorry for such a post but it just felt good to actually get to go fishing today. Hope to go again weekend after next!
