Red Shad

I am trying to put together a nice black/red shad laminate.  I am having a bit of color with getting the nice red color I want using X2 colors.  From what I have seen on the forum many people recommend X2 tomato but It doesn't look like Do-It sells that color.  Do most people just add small doses of black until they get the desired color?  Also, any hi-lites or just the pearl powder since they don't sell red hi-lites?  Thanks in advance for the help everyone.

You're right Tomato is a good start to a more natural red, unfortunately it is not currently in stock and is "hidden" from the site.  It will be added as soon as more hits the floor here at the 501 N. State Street... Also Rose Hyper Hi-lite is as red as any hi-lite I've ever seen personally.  X2 Sweet Potato is orangish but it might help you if mixed with a brighter red like the X2 Red.

There's guys here who are much better and concocting colors than I am and I'm sure they'll be chiming in any time now.

Thanks guys, is strawberry another X2 color that will be back on the list soon?  I'm planning to make another order soon anyways.  Any rough estimate of when that order will be in and the colors restocked Jerry?  Thanks!

X2 Red is In Stock.  Red plus Black, Black to Darken (a little at a time), maybe add some Red Pearl or Red Hilite Powder.  Just talkin' Colors makes me want to cook plastic!
