Adding to much "stuff"?
« on: 06/21/17 22:49 UTC »
Hey guys. Just started injecting this week with senkos and beavers. I was just wondering, is it possible to add to many things? For example can I add HD sinking formula, and softener together? Can I add softener and worm oil and HD sinking? Then I obviously still have to add color and glitter so I thought maybe there would be a bad reaction with adding so much "stuff"?

All that stuff is compatible with each other so you'll be fine.

It's been my experience, if you use the hd additive, you don't want to add softener to the mix. The hd has some ingredient that acts like softener in it. Too much softener will make your baits tacky or sticky.

Whatever you do, keep in mind that you can always add more, but never remove what you put in (although you can dilute it with more plastic if you have the availability to increase your batch size).

You can add all that.
Using Salt or GLASS BEAD MEDIA SPHERES in place of Salt, you'll add Softener to offset the stiffness produced by the solid particulate.

I'll just add that worm oil goes on the finished baits, not in the plastic before cooking or while its being re-heated or re-melted..

HD makes a solid looking bait but salt and glass beads you can make transparent colors and as far as worm oil I only add a little after bagging the bait’s. Have fun Cubanice27
