A cool little reminder...

Nosing around in a thrift store in Winona, MN last week one day I came across this little trinket. I liked it and bought it. We have a short length of wall in our bedroom that has nothing on it and this will now have a place there. We'll see it when we wake up and when we leave that room. There are days when such a reminder makes things much brighter.

This Is what is on the dresser as we leave our bedroom. It's a Indian inukshuk. They would use them years ago to hunt Caribou. Their numbers were small so they would stack rocks ( inukshuks ) to look like humans and drive the Caribou so they would come into a narrow where they could kill them. The natives believed the inukshuk would guide you to where the sprits wanted you to go. In my life that's good enough for me. I'll follow the sprits any day.
