Warm

It's been really hot here in South Alabama but I didn't know the water temps got this way.  I like to get in some backwaters in my yak and this skinny water is hot. I still caught a few in the bath water. ;)

Dang! That is hot! Just curious, do you fish any KBF events in your yak? Or any other kayak circuits? I fish KBF and BKFT(Ohio) and Cincinnati Kayak fishing.

That's unreal. I've seen it get to right around 80 degrees here in SE Minnesota a couple times over the years but the water really sucks at that temp. So does the fishing and even if the fish bit well they die on the release because of the struggle in the hot water.

I was just thinking about all the tornados and severe storms in the south and if any of our members were caught up in that mess. Hoping all is well weather-wise down there.

No sir. I would love to but I let work get in the way. I did fish some month long events local.

That is some warm water there we’ve only had a couple days in the 80’s mostly be 60’s and upper 70’s with night in 50’s. Surface temp in the 60’s
May your days be filled with sun shine and you always have a tight line. AMEN
