One is a CNC MOLD that gives you a glossy finish and the ES RIPPER is a cast mold that will give you a Matt finish. But there are some people that paint the ES molds with high heat engine paint so that they end up with a glossy finish

My opinion the Matt finish catches fish as will as the CNC unless you’re doing transparent bait’s.

Cnc ripper also shoots MUCH better than the es version, at least in my experience the es ripper (both 3” and 3.5”) dent way more. The 3” cnc is super easy to shoot, never had a dent in it, just a pain to shoot 1 at a time.

The essential 3” you have to pour the right side first and the hinged side last. Haven’t had a issue with dents.

I took a dremel and opened the gates a TINY bit, more just smoothed them out than anything, but they were rough, haven’t shot it since but it should be much better now.

I have a couple other molds I like better so don’t use the ripper much anymore, it’s a great bait but I’m not a fan of the es molds (not the finish either) and hate shooting 1 at a time!
