I recently purchased this mold to begin my path of creating my own jigs for fishing. I had a pack of 570 Eagle Claw from a garage sale and the work fine in the 3/16 mold but wont fit in the 3/32 sides. Is there a different hook for each size?

As a general rule, you can go 1 size larger or smaller than the suggestion on the mold.

Most hooks are made in various sizes. That 570 certainly is, as is the 575. The 575 is the gold finish version of the 570.

Most molds that pour multiple size jigs, especially in those smaller sizes often are made for different size hooks.

What size hook do you have?

I have the Eagle Claw 570 and the eyelet goes over just a little too far.

The mold you have uses hooks from a size #4 up to a 1/0, a pretty wide size range. I'm going to guess the 570s you have are probably larger than a 1/0, probably 2/0 or maybe 3/0. You need to pay attention to the hook specs each mold calls for. Now molds that call for a 570 hook can use different brands that make the same type of hook, VMC 9147, Mustad 32755 or 32746 and so on. When a mold has multiple size cavities they often use different size hooks. As was already mentioned, most, not all but most molds will allow you to go up and/or down 1 size so a mold calling for a 2/0 will often allow use with a 1/0 and a 3/0 hook but not always, that is why we have these forums so we can ask questions like that. So, what size are the 570s you got or don't you know? If you don't know then I'm going to say they are at least a 2/0 since it will work for the 3/16oz but not the 3/32oz.
