Grinnell Bowfin Mudfish or Cypress Trout. Whatever you call em they are fun to catch. There is a big tournament for them down here that started small as a way to get rid of some of them. It has turned into a pretty big event that is a blast to fish in. I fished a lot of my homemade worms but PowerBaits won the day. On a side note I could not keep the Bass off my jigs and custom worms.

Amazing how fish can detect and strike lures in that muddy water! Bet those catfish would have made for some good eating!
