Almost forgot how good it feels
« on: 04/05/22 16:26 UTC »
So I am down in my den with the Kansas City Rivals on the tube while I airbrush some pan fish crankbaits.  Spring is here and I'm feeling good!
I find it incredible that I have to explain to a grown American citizen that taking a knee during the National Anthem is disrespectful.

We hit the lake this morning before the wind got up and the rain began. Chilly at 34 degrees but man, it's nice to be outside. No crappies but the smallies have moved back into the shoreline where we're fishing, and I got five takers in the 16-17" range. My buddy got hung up on a bit of submerged brush right where the bass were hitting and broke off. He was trying to get the float back, but it was still attached to the jig. In his messing around he evidently got the attention of one of the smallies and it picked the twitching jig off the brush and swam off, float and all.

Are you painting the Do-It panfish cranks Sarge? I have a few but haven't got the airbrush stuff out yet.

A little bit of everything Tom.  I did one of the do its but so far my favorite is one I think I got from cro.  It runs really shallow and the pan fish really slam it.
