Consider getting a griddle from Walmart (maybe $25-$35). Set it on 200 and place molds on. Let the molds sit on there while you are preparing your plastic.

When you are ready, pour away. You are getting the lines becasue you are waiting a little to long to pour the second layer. Either more practice or warmer molds will resolve this line. Fish won't care but fishermen will if they are buying.

Only downside to the griddle is you will have to wait a little longer after you take the molds off the griddle to demold. Worth it in my opinion as you will get a near perfect bait everytime.

Top Shelf and others that do these use a griddle or warmer for molds.

You are doing a GREAT job now on these!!! I am impressed as these molds can be a little tricky!!!!

You can also use this same Yoogly, Mixed-Plastic Mix as an injection to preheat molds and to warm Your injector if You'll be using it.  It doesn't matter if the mix yellows, either...it's strictly for preheating.

The final remelt is softening the chunks as we speak, on the Color I'm shooting now.  Gonna shoot 1 or 2 3.5" BT 637 OP's to show how this Color will look in that bait...I'm injecting that OP mold, since my Hand Pour "talent" isn't so much of a talent...lol

I shot 3.5" Carrots and 5" Skinny Carrots in the Color...lookin' real good...
