So what's your favorite.... ?

It's been long enough now that the Rippers in 3"-4"range, the 5" Thump-It and the new 4.25" Quakin Shad have to had made the rounds, so which is your favorite? I struggled between the 4" Rippers and the Quaking Shad this summer as both are super good baits for Bass and Pike but when the doldrums hit in late July it was all Quakin and shakin.

Very similar to the Keitech Swing Impact baits of almost the same length, the Quakin Shad is just that "right" amount thicker. Not as thick as a Keitech Fat Impact, it has action that is just hard to ignore. And the Bass and Pike agree. Less bulky than the Ripper the Quaking Shad fishes very nice on a 1/16 weighted 4/0, #7320 VMC hook with an action that is almost slippery when in weeds.

With the water temps going on the downhill slide the Quakin Shad on a 1/4 or 3/8 jig is bound to be a real menace to walleyes. I'll find out as soon as the deer season is wrapped up for me.

I honestly like and carry all three of these baits, just favoring the Quakin Shad a bit. Which do you guys like and why?

The Ripper is still king for me.

The 5" Thumper is an awesome bait and I wished I had a chance to throw it for 'skis this fall, but it never materialized.  I think its faster tail action (relative to its size) should give off more of a distressed/panicked feeling to those chasing it and (hopefully) trigger a few more strikes rather than just follows.

The Quaker is a hybrid of the above two and if I could only own one, this would be it... however, I prefer using one of the more specific actions on either side (as conditions dictate), so it gets the back seat of the three for me.
