I would like some ideas on what color of skirt and trailer on a jig you would use to match bluegill.  I just cant get anything im happy with. 
Using the MD3XL as a trailer.  or swim shad.

Mike makes these.  I'm sure others on here make some good ones as well.  For Fork I like a little Pumpkin Seed or Brown in my skirt also.

That's a really nice looking jig right there; to me anyway.
A way to get  ideas is to google  "flipping jigs" or "swim jigs", etc. and see what web sites come up.  Then go and check them out.

I make my own jigs. And have a lot of skirt tabs.  And I think I have all of those  colors. That jig looks nice.  it's the orange I was missing in the one I made tonight I think. 

I think my problem is I'm very Hard to make happy.   : ).
