Sample Baits?
« on: 12/22/24 18:23 UTC »
I have been hopeful for sometime now that Do It would again sell Sample Baits.  I still see it listed but nothing can be selected.  Does anyone know if there are any plans to start sample baits back up for sale?

At the moment...
Flippin Zip
4" ST Grub
3" ST Grub
1.5" CC Glider
2" OG grub

It's kind of an odd assortment,  but trying to decide between a few molds and having them in hand was helpful in the past.

I have the 2" Glider and flippin zip.

If that'll help send me your mailing info by pm. I'll get to them after XMas.

I can tell you right now that the 2" Glider is the fish getter. A buddy has [had] the 1.5" glider and could fish next to me with an identically colored bait and the 2" would outfish the 1.5, 5 to 1. Happened many times. He now has his own 2" Glider and someone else has his former 1.5"

Great.  How does it compare to the brush bomb?  Is the body thinner or about the same?

Much thinner. The big denominator id how you can fish it with the tail flap horizontal or vertical and change the drop rate dramatically while staying with a minnow profile. You can also fill one side of the mold's tail cavities with hard setting putty and make the tail ultra thin with a super amount of action. The putty can be picked out to make the tails as they come in the mold. Lots of versatility to this mold.

You know Tom, Do-it should hire you to do some videos! You're always giving us great ideas on how to make and alter baits.
