I tried foiling yesterday....

.... and for the most part it turned out pretty good. After handling the foil, which is fragile as heck, I question the durability when being fished but it sure makes for a nice base for colors. These have been sealed with CS Clear Coat, non uv.



Not sure why these appear to be rough in the picture. They're as smooth as can be.

Looking good. I had a couple lipless cranks I foiled and did two dips in CS. After some fishing they clouded up and the foil partially released. I started doing 3 coats and haven’t seen the problem yet. Not sure if I damaged the clear coat or what happened. On my flutter lead jigs two dip and drip sessions have held up well.
