Who makes this mold?
« on: 12/09/12 12:44 UTC »
Hello all,

Can anyone tell me which company makes the craw mold used by Ghostbaits (Hope its CCM's mold)...here is the link to the CCM color cook book where he has posted pics. Thanks in advance.   http://www.caneycreekmolds.net/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=1205

It's all about the fishing, not the catching. However, a fish on the line makes for a fine day.

I think the mold Drew pictured is actually a hand pour mold, although if you're careful you can still inject it.  BT now has the same bait in an injection mold.  I've caught quite few fish on this bait in my Delta...black with light blue claws.
Until next time.

Yeah, Denny is correct this is a hand pour. Although I have this in the 3.5" and inject/twinject it just fine. Ghost uses or did use the mold pictured, I got my 3.5" from him. Having the bait verticle can be really fun to play around with. I like to heat two colors and pour them in a little at a time to make a striped bait. Also you can keep this mold handy while shooting other molds and use what's left in the bottom of the cup to pour a few vs. having to scrap it?

I just read your profile Denny, we fish the same delta. I usually launch out of Tracy or Stockton.

Hey Fishncopper,  I put in at Paradise Point often and Ladd's on occasion, but that's about it for the Stockton area.  I do New Hope and B & W quite a bit and Brennan Island for stripers, and Russo's for the occasional tournament.  Love the Delta.  It's probably a toss-up between  there and Clear Lake.  I fish both of them quite a bit.  How about you?
Until next time.
