I have been melting gold and other dental alloys for 50 years, but this is a whole new ballgame.
I bought the CC Starter kit so I'll try that first. It comes with gloves, and I have seen the safty vidios. I can't even imagin getting this on you skin!?! Is that why they said to have a bucket of water handy? I will be melting in my heated garage/man cave. It has fans as well. I will melt and pour in my fume cabinet that I use for my dental burnout of wax. I did buy a infrared thermomiter at Harbour freight.
